The design followed the tradition of the bonfire used in the celebrations throughout the city where people gather old wood in the streets and light a fire so that people can jump over it.
The color of the flames represent the different colours that each large neighbourhood of the city uses to identify itself in the celebrations parades.
The main printed pieces used a spot varnish overlay on top of the flames to highlight the flames detail and give more depth to the object.
The event demanded several graphic pieces for promotion and information. I designed posters, outdoors, media ads, security badges, press kits, invitations and web banners.
